CHP Units (Combined Heat and Power)

What is a CHP Unit?

A C.H.P unit is a piece of equipment that provides both heat and electricity (usually at the ratio of 2:1/3:1 Heat to Electricity) from the fuel.

C.H.P stands for “Combined Heat and Power” and in the realms of the renewable energy industry that means that we are burning /gasifying carbon-neutral Biomass (wood) to produce both heat for drying floors or commercial heating systems and power in the form of electricity through an engine and generator.

Please note that Inresol AB has gone into administration therefore the development & production of the Sterling CHP unit has ceased with no plans to resume production.
